Although I am falling behind on the daily challenge painting (Opus), I spent all day Friday in the printmaking studio - having so much fun. I got a little impatient at the end and messed up some potentially great images - but that can be fixed. I have them listed below in sequence so it shows the progression from one print to the next.

OOOOPS - I'm falling behind on the Opus Daily painting challenge. Spent yesterday catching up and doing the much needed studio work. I'll try to keep these remaining 4 prompts simple and quick so I can update later today or tomorrow - life is busy. The homework for this week's printmaking class was to 'finish' the gel plate prints we made the week before. Honestly, I was at a loss, no idea how to finish them. And then the daily prompt from Opus showed up in my inbox - repetition. That was a gift and the answer to my homework assignment. The prints are all about 6'x6" and with a mat and frame - they look great! I'm pleased.
Days 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9 of the Opus Daily Painting Challenge. Each day Opus sends out a one word 'prompt' that relates to the work of a particular artist. I have enjoyed learning about these artists - a little art history lesson, as well as incorporating the prompt into my daily work.
