So - as you can guess by the infrequency of my posts over the past few months, I've been struggling to figure out what to paint and how to paint it. What's my plan? As I mentioned in a recent post, I've been reading Bob Blasts and here's what I'm working on.
Using Bob's colour wheel, which has 10 colours rather than 12, I started painting apples - very colourful apples and an abstract. Then I moved on to - trees, monochromatic trees. Here we go!

I've spent the past few days following Bob Blasts - Bob Burridge short info videos - and learning about design, composition and focal point - and how they relate to one another. Not too much to show you except some studies, loosening up exercises.
OK - the birthdays and family events are over. I'm working on finishing the renovations on my house and doing my daily exercise routine and... yup, getting back to creating art. Over the past few weeks, I've given a lot of thought to what I like to do - what is FUN!!!! And I do lean to abstract and semi-abstract work, and making a lot of mess. I've watched lots of Bob Burridge videos and feel excited to make a mess. Now... where can I do that? Maybe the back patio? If you haven't watched any of Bob's videos, I urge you to do so. He's all about having fun. I'll post todays efforts tomorrow morning. Until then.... have fun!!!!!!!!
